On January 17-18, 2023, our employees participated in scientific consultations at Bialystok University of Technology. Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of LUT was represented by Prof. Sylwester Samborski, vice dean for education and international cooperation, his team of doctors and doctoral students - Izabela Korzec, MSc., Jakub Paśnik, MSc., Dr. Eng. Jakub Rzeczkowski, Dr. Eng. Jakub Skoczylas - as well as the employees of the Department of Machine Design and Mechatronics: Prof. Patryk Różyło, Dr. Eng. Katarzyna Falkowicz and Dr. Eng. Paweł Wysmulski, representing the research team of Prof. Hubert Dębski.

The delegation of Lublin University of Technology was warmly welcomed by the authorities of BUT: Prof. Roman Kaczyński, dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, Prof. Łukasz Derpeński, vice dean for development and cooperation, and Prof. Michał Kuciej, head of the Department of Mechanics and Applied Computer Science.

The visit of representatives of Lublin University of Technology to Bialystok University of Technology was aimed at intensifying cooperation between the two universities in the field of mechanical engineering, taking into account the challenges and opportunities opened by the "Via Carpatia" cooperation network. Both parties are particularly interested in staff exchange opportunities (internships), joint publications, as well as research and implementation projects. As part of the visit to Bialystok University of Technology, the representatives of our university also visited scientific and teaching laboratories.

It is worth emphasizing the great involvement of students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of BUT in the activities of scientific clubs, which can boast of impressive achievements on a global scale, especially in the field of designing and building racing cars - the "Cerber Motorsport" team has been successful in international Formula Student competitions since 2011.
