In April, the Spice Gears 5883 team, along with representatives of the FIRST Robots student academic circle from Lublin University of Technology, went to the FRC Level Robotics World Championships, held in Detroit, USA. More than 400 teams from over the world participated in the event, and the Spice Gears team won 38th place in its division. Along with the Spice Gears team, students of Henry Jan Zamoyski High School No. 2 in Lublin took part in the championship as the Toxic Cables team, which was the winner of the first FTC competition in Poland, held at the Lublin University of Technology. Both teams were the only representatives of Poland in their categories, FRC and FTC. The experience, new friendships and knowledge acquired at the competition will result in the following years successes.
